Antique Cast Iron Cistern

A charming small English 19th Century cast iron cistern or planter with simple molded decoration. This could be utilized internally or externally for a number of purposes. Excellent condition, some surface rust with a pitted rust finish. No holes no cracks. Remnants of fixings to the inside of the bowl. It holds water. Circa 1830. Weight 18 kg.

Our impressive site in rural Herefordshire currently holds over 2,500 items.  Arranged around a courtyard, our site includes an 18th Century barn as well as three large modern warehouses.  We have dedicated showrooms displaying much of our extensive collection of unique and ever-changing architectural pieces.

We supply interior designers, architects, retailers and private clients across the world. Previous customers have included Cambridge and Oxford Universities, Claridge's and Warner Brothers.

In everything we do, we are mindful of our environmental and ethical responsibilities.  We do not sell any items containing ivory, tortoise shell or asbestos.
