Antique Shanks Imperial Basin

A rare Antique Shanks ‘Imperial’ corner basin with plunger waste and a cast iron wall mounted bracket. The bracket is finished in grey primer. Marked ‘32’ on the underside. The taps are present and move freely, however, they have not been tested. They still appear to have original washers. This basin has minimal wear, there are no cracks or breaks. Circa 1880. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor Losses, scuffs, and scratches

Our impressive site in rural Herefordshire currently holds over 2,500 items.  Arranged around a courtyard, our site includes an 18th Century barn as well as three large modern warehouses.  We have dedicated showrooms displaying much of our extensive collection of unique and ever-changing architectural pieces.

We supply interior designers, architects, retailers and private clients across the world. Previous customers have included Cambridge and Oxford Universities, Claridge's and Warner Brothers.

In everything we do, we are mindful of our environmental and ethical responsibilities.  We do not sell any items containing ivory, tortoise shell or asbestos.
