18th Century Walnut Commode

Vagabond Antiques presents a Quality 18th Century Walnut commode.

This French commode is made from solid walnut throughout including draw liners, a very high quality piece of furniture with all its original hardware including functional key.

This commode was truly built to stand the test of time with draw fronts over an inch thick, and as such has survived very well, the timber taking on a beautiful rich colour.

Vagabond Antiques was founded by Joe Chaffer in 2015.  From an early age Joe was surrounded by his mothers love for all things antique, with her being an antiques dealer for 30 years, Joe certainly has antique dealing in his blood.

After a 15 year career in London with various Men's fashion brands and after taking the lead on multiple projects which incorporated using antique items to create bespoke shop-fit's for menswear concessions, Joe really got the taste for using decorative antiques to create unique interiors.

Joe's focus is now solely on finding beautiful and intriguing items for the home and garden.

Vagabond opened it's first shop in July 2017 in Fittleworth Village, West Sussex, just a 5 minute drive from the well established 'antique' market town of Petworth and close to the historic town of Arundel.

Vagabond Antiques is open 7 days a week from 10am to 5pm and other times by appointment.
