An interesting 18th century stick barometer

An interesting 18th century stick barometer of simple and elegant design. With brass engraved register plates and sliding vernier. The body is one piece of mahogany with canted, fluted and carved adornments and a canister style cistern cover. In very good and original condition. Unsigned. 950mm high, 90mm wide and 50mm deep. Circa 1780
