I have been looking for one of these for years!
These were made in the 1960s by Maggie Fisher, a ceramicist in Newlyn, Cornwall.
On occasion I’ve found the vase version, but never a table lamp and not in this colour way; I love her startled expression!
Its lustreware and has a wonderful slightly iridescent quality which is hard to capture in a photo.
The lamp is in very good condition with no chips. The shade is new.
