A substantial volcanic-glazed bottle by Marcello Fantoni (1915–2011), the tall body built up in a crusted grey-and-charcoal surface that catches the light like weathered stone — the architectural, almost geological manner sought after by collectors. Signed in white to the base. Acquired directly from the Fantoni family, Florence. Mid-20th century. 38 × 20 cm.
