20th Century French expressive atelier study.

Depicting a seated nude model posed upon a chair, her figure illuminated against the shadowed interior of a working studio. In the background an artist stands before an easel, reinforcing the sense of a life-drawing session observed in progress. Executed with confident, painterly brushwork and a warm, atmospheric palette, the composition captures the immediacy and intimacy of the studio environment.

Signed J. Delesti to the reverse and inscribed Jane. The work relates closely to the tradition of European atelier studies and reflects a direct engagement with the observation of the human figure.
