Early 20th Century French enamelled café table. Circa 1930.


The circular top decorated with a stylised Secessionist motif in shades of azure blue, olive green and cream, raised on a wrought iron base. Wonderfully weathered throughout, with areas of enamel loss, surface wear and oxidation acquired over decades of use, giving the piece a particularly rich sense of age and character. The deep azure edging contrasts beautifully with the crisp white ground and graphic decoration.


A highly decorative piece with a strong early modern European café aesthetic, equally suited to an interior, conservatory or garden room.
