A striking French Art Nouveau cast iron umbrella or stick stand dating to circa 1900.


Distinguished by its elegant pierced floral and scrolling vine latticework beneath an arched carrying handle. Richly sculptural in form, the stand retains its original removable drip tray with traces of pale green painted finish, beautifully complemented by cast ivy leaf decoration around the base. The natural aged surface and untouched patina lend the piece exceptional character, while the organic lines and botanical motifs embody the fluid artistry of the Art Nouveau movement.


Equally practical and decorative, it makes a superb hallway or garden room statement piece.
