Mid-Century French expressive figurative study painted directly onto the lid of a Flor de Lobeto Habana cigar box.


Depicting an elegant silhouetted figure poised before a line of shadowed spectators, suggestive of a fashion runway or theatrical presentation. The restrained palette and elongated form recall Mid-Century fashion illustration. Mounted behind glass within a softly weathered carved wooden frame. The reverse retains the original Havana cigar box branding, an evocative detail referencing the work’s unconventional support.
