Handsome Mid-Century Italian saddle leather magazine holder, dating from the 1960s.


Beautifully handcrafted in thick cognac leather with exposed stitched edging, sculptural panelled sides, and an integrated carry handle. The elegant architectural form and rich patinated surface evoke the refined modernism associated with luxury European leatherwork of the period, in the spirit of Jacques Adnet. Both practical and decorative, the piece works beautifully beside a sofa or reading chair for storing magazines, newspapers, or vinyl records.


The leather has developed a superb warm patina over time, with natural wear and markings consistent with age and careful use, adding greatly to its character and appeal. A striking and timeless interior accessory with strong sculptural presence.
