A charming pair of Mid-Century French wrought-iron garden chairs in the celebrated 'Bouchon de Champagne' design.


Hand-crafted from forged and twisted iron, these delightful chairs feature the distinctive champagne-cork silhouette to the backs incorporating decorative heart motifs, together with concentric circular seats and elegant loop feet. Inspired by the shape of a traditional champagne cork and muselet, the design has long been associated with French vineyard and café furniture.


Retaining layers of historic paint and a beautifully weathered surface patina, the chairs possess considerable decorative appeal and authentic character.
