Item Details

A striking pair of Pair of Mid-Century Italian wrought iron wall lights in the Italian manner, inspired by Commedia dell’Arte.

With highly sculptural masked figures and foliate scrolling decoration. The dramatic design combines gilt and dark patinated finishes with stylised theatrical masks, spiral motifs and organic forms reminiscent of mid-century Italian decorative ironwork. Each wall light has two handworked iron leaved branches supporting cupped bulb holders and retains a richly textured hand-finished surface throughout. Elegant and expressive, they make an exceptional decorative statement.

Circa 1960-70s.

Now professionally rewired and PAT tested to UK standards.
