An original signed watercolour by Harry Matthew depicting scenes from the 1988 Tote Gold Cup Chase at Cheltenham.


The composition features Charter Party, owned by Jennifer Mould and ridden by Richard Dunwoody, alongside race-day imagery including the betting board and trophy presentation. Executed in a loose and atmospheric style with strong late 20th century sporting art character. Signed and dated lower right “Harry Matthew ’88”. Presented in a gilt frame with double mount under glass.


A decorative and collectable piece of National Hunt racing memorabilia with particular appeal to Cheltenham and equestrian sporting collectors.
