A totally original early 19th Century Pine Dresser from the Lake District in the northwest of England.

Kitchen Dressers of this type were known as 'Dog Kennel' dressers because of the kennel shaped alcove in the centre of the base.

The dresser which has its original wide pine backboards, divides into separate upper rack and lower dresser-base.
