Two left out of 3 decorative carved and painted wood Domes or Cresting Boards from a 19th Century Carousel in France or Belgium.
The pair of carved boards are in old show paint and can also be used upside down and suspended as 'apron' shaped 'droppers'.
The domes are each constructed on a slight curve and have a depth of 8 inches (20 cms).
Each Dome Measures 36" wide x 32" high, (92 x 82 cms) in good used condition with natural wear and imperfections from age and usage.
Circa 1880 - 1900, made either in France or the Devos Carving company in Belgium.
