Item Details

Seltzer or Soda Siphon from France with Rattan Basketwork covering. In good condition, the Siphon has upper and lower glass bowls covered in latticework rattan set with pewter metal fittings and standing on a white china base.
Seltzer siphons like this were alternatives to the larger wire covered ones of the period, and were usually used in domestic situations.
