Very Small Carved Wood Curved Door from a 19th C.Pharmacy in France, probably from the front of a Wall Cupboard or Cabinet-  having a painted/gilded woodcarving of a mother Phoenix bird and 3 chicks- above an anchor and flaming torch.

 

This came from an old French Pharmacy and one guesses that it may have been for locking up drugs. 

Measures 62 cms high x 31 wide. incorporates an original Metal Lock with its key.
