Item Details

An attractive small writing desk from France with shelf rack and drawers, standing on turned legs. In its original red 'bullsblood' paint, known as a 'Bonheur du Jour' bureau, this example of a small moveable ladies writing desk dates between 1880 and 1910. With Lockable front drawer. In used and knocked-about condition with some natural wear, absense of any worm or rot.
