CONDITION
Presented in very good antique condition commensurate with age. The walnut veneers retain an excellent rich colour and attractive figuring throughout with a pleasing, honest patina. The crossgrain mouldings are generally well preserved. The rear legs are old replacements and the brass handles are later replacements in keeping with the period. There are the expected marks, knocks, scratches and minor historic repairs associated with a piece of this age. The drawers run well, the joints are sound and the chest is ready for use.
