Very Decorative 18th Century French Provincial Parquetry & Marquetry Inlay Cupboard

This 18th-century French provincial parquetry and marquetry inlay cupboard is a rare and striking example of craftsmanship.
The cupboard features a rectangular moulded top above two drawers, both of which are secured with a single lock. The drawers are richly inlaid with geometric patterns and fitted with original, beautifully shaped brass handles and carved lock escutcheons, situated above two lockable cupboard doors enclosing two shelves. The moulded doors showcases a complete surface of parquetry and marquetry inlays, abstract veneers of kingwood, olive wood, and other fine timbers set in contrasting patterns and geometric frames. The front stands on classic bun feet, and the piece retains its original working locks and keys.
