Untouched Late 19th-Century Scottish Arts & Crafts Pine Two-Door Wardrobe

This superb late 19th / early 20th-century gentleman’s wardrobe, circa 1890–1910, is a striking statement piece that beautifully combines elegance, utility and period craftsmanship.
Executed in solid, richly figured flame pine, the wardrobe displays an exceptional grain, warm colour and outstanding original patina. The shaped trefoil-pierced moulded cornice sits above a pair of long, beautifully figured panelled doors, each fitted with a lock and working key.
The interior is thoughtfully arranged, with generous hanging space over three short drawers and one long drawer, offering excellent versatility for storing clothing, linens and accessories. The whole piece stands firmly on an enclosed plinth base, ensuring stability and presence.
In the distinctive Pugin-inspired Arts & Crafts style, this untouched wardrobe comes apart into three sections, cornice, cupboard and plinth base, making it practical to transport and install.
Both highly functional and visually impressive, this fine quality Scottish Arts & Crafts wardrobe is an ideal addition to any refined bedroom, dressing room or hallway.
