A Chinese provincial elm three drawer scroll table in original patinated lacquer finish with original bronze handles in country house antique condition ,this would originally have been used as a scroll table the religious scrolls would have been stored in the drawers and rolled open on the top and weighted either end for study .perfect for use as a side server or console and being freestanding could be used as a kitchen island Circa 1840-60 33” or 84 cm high 54” or 137 cm wide 26” or 66 cm deep
