Item Description
A mottled green Spanish circa 1950s stoneware jug, on what is believed to be a solid silver base, which bears two Spanish silver hallmarks being the five-point star silver fineness mark for 915/1000 purity (plata de ley) and the city of Barcelona assay office mark. Also bearing the ceramicist monogram on the ceramic part of the underside of the jug which is currently unidentified. I have only seen one other of these which was in a mottled blue colour.
