A wonderful copper street light made in France by Holophane. c.1910

A rare early 20th‑century French Holophane street lantern in untouched copper, complete with its original internal glass reflector and prismatic lens - both stamped Holophane. The copper casing shows the honest knocks, creases and weathering expected from decades of municipal use, giving it a rich, naturally mottled surface. Inside, the paired Holophane elements produce the crisp, refracted light the firm was known for, with the reflector throwing a clean spread and the prismatic a beautiful glow.

Rewired with black twisted flex.
