An incredibly stylish prismatic glass pendant light made in France by Holophane. c.1920

A beautifully made Holophane Excellite pendant, modelled in one of the more diminutive sizes produced by the firm. The two‑part prismatic glass shade is crisply moulded, giving a bright, even diffusion of light, and is supported by its original brass gallery and perforated lower retaining band. Both glass sections stamped ‘Holophane’.

Rewired with black twisted flex.
