A large hand carved, painted and gilt 'SOCIETY' sign. c.1900

Likely once part of a larger shop sign with reverse painted glass over the top. Perfect statement piece in wonderful original condition with old overpaint, primer and gilt lettering on show. An old repair present to one end.
