A finely crafted model of a mid‑19th‑century steamship. c.1890.


Presented in original condition, under its hand blown glass dome. This example captures the transitional era of maritime design, pairing two fully rigged masts with a central smokestack to evoke the moment when sail and steam worked side by side. The black hull, detailed deck fittings, and cotton‑plume “steam” bring the vessel to life, while the sculpted wave base adds a sense of movement.


A classic Victorian display piece - both a tribute to early steam navigation and an elegant decorative object in its own right.
