A beautiful and very impressive Japanese-inspired craftsman long Pine bench/table shaped from a mature Welsh pine tree over 90 years old, this tree was felled many of years ago due to it being dangerous, it has fabulous colour and patina and our thoughts were inspired by the oriental long benches The supports being mature Beech with an adjoining rail shaped and finished in Burntwood Sugi Ban method and then finished in natural wax.
Each piece in this organic range is influenced by a passion for the natural imperfections of fallen trees, sourced by the maker in rural Wales.
Individual, age-old wood forms are considered for the beauty of their grain, flaws, and imperfections - debarked, then cut and shaped by hand, to showcase fresh, new abstract forms.
