A beautiful primitive Nagaland coffee table, from the early 20th century. This wooden coffee table from the Naga tribes of Nagaland, North East India has been carved out of a single log and would make for a great coffee table and conversational piece. This piece has a nice rustic presence, with its lovely texture and old patina. The wood is a dark brown with a waxed sheen.
This one-of-a-kind unique coffee table is hand-chiseled from one piece of wood created from indigenous hardwood. Originally the Naga tribesman slept on elevated these wooden tables to keep off the moist earth in their huts. A true wabi-sabi piece
