Beautiful antique Greek 19thC Mediterranean terracotta olive jar with wonderful original time-worn patina, this antique Greek terracotta vessel once used to hold olives, features a rounded lip at its top, with a bulbous centre that tapers to the bottom. The olive jar provides a wonderful architectural feature to outdoor gardens and landscapes, they will look beautiful indoors as well. Adds a stunning focal point in an entry, staircase nook or hallway. These jars are one of a kind and have their own unique patina. The olive jar can be used outside, but be careful with frost (either cover the mouth or place under a roof) Wear consistent with age and use.
