3 large French 19th century terracotta yellow glazed Jars with handles. These were used in the 19th century and earlier to store food gathered in the summer harvest, then cooked and put into these Jars and sealed with fat to preserve the food for the winter months. They are glazed inside so make perfect vases for flowers but are also useful around the kitchen for holding utensils or food stuffs. Re-purposing in a very environmentally friendly way! Circa 1880
