A collection of early 19th century large French Cone-shaped glass Jam Jars - these are exceptionally lovely ones and all are in excellent condition. Their original purpose was for Jams and Conserves - the French, being so obsessed with food, always made beautiful containers to display their it. These are now perfect for serving Jams of course but have many other uses around the house - from serving sauces and cream to holding scented candles and making the perfect little vases for herbs and flowers...circa 1910
