A rare and beautiful pair of English 19th c Soup plates with a blue & white design on the rim and an impressive monogram in the center. Copeland design from the 'Spode' Potteries. These would have been specially created as part of a much larger set for a private client - hence the family's monogram in the center which is, I think, 'DW'... These are very special and will appeal to a collector of blue and white china.  They are in very good condition and very useable ....Circa 1880
