A fabulous French 19th century Cherry Pickers Basket. Skillfully made by weaving fine lengths of this wood together and painted in the most delightful green.  So lucky to find this basket in it's original condition and original finish. It would have had straps on the back so that they can be worn by the Cherry Pickers as they go about harvesting the fruit..Circa 1880
