Item Details

An unusual lantern with alternating blue and red stained glass panels. The glass panels are curved and protrude from the frame. The frame is made of steel which has been waxed.

The underside of this lantern is open to allow the bulb to be changed.

*Not suitable for outdoor use*

PLEASE NOTE THAT ONE GLASS PANEL IS CLEAR RATHER THAN BLUE OR RED. THE GLASS STILL HAS THE DISTINCTIVE CURVED SURFACE SO I ASSUME IT IS ORIGINAL. SEE PHOTOS FOR MORE DETAIL.

Height from bottom of lantern to top of hanging hook 37cm. Overall width is 24cm Weight 1.9kg.

Wired with approx. 1 metre of antique gold braided flex. Fitted with a new bayonet fitting (size B22). PAT tested prior to dispatch.

All our lighting is restored in our workshop in Melbourne, South Derbyshire. We welcome you to visit and choose an unrestored item so that you can customise that piece with the colour cable of your choice.

Supplied with 1 metre of matching suspension chain and a hooked ceiling rose with aged brass finish.
