A 19th century mahogany pedestal cupboard
The top with raised gallery over a single door with flame-figured panel. The door with brass catch opens to a shelved interior. Stands upon a plinth base. The door bears impressed maker’s mark Holland & Sons.
English, circa 1840-1870

Holland and Son renowned London cabinet makers who had premises in Mount Street in 1850 and whose clients included Queen Victoria, The Reform Club and universities such as All Souls College, Oxford.
