https://www.decorativecollective.com/dealers/baggott-coA Damascus table. The hexagonal top inlaid with geometric pattens in ebony and bone, above a frieze cut with silhouettes in the form of onion domes as characterised in middle eastern architecture, stands on turned legs, united by a stretcher in the form of the Seal of Solomon, ebonised and with inlaid decoration. Damascus, circa 1900
The Seal of Solomon and the Star of David are very similar, the specific variation is how they interconnect, David is two triangles overlapped with one another to form a star, Solomon is two interlocking triangles to form a star, the same seal was used on Damascus steel, symbolic of the union of soul and body.
