Lowback ash and elm Windsor chair. This design with the pierced back, turned supports and the curved crinoline stretcher is typical of the Midlands of England. English, circa 1830.
Condition: Lovely original colour to the arms, seat and back. A very clean example with no obvious repairs.
The Windsor chair was typical seating for English taverns and kitchens.
