This coffee table in brushed steel with a smoked glass top is a production signed by the prestigious Maison Charles, founded in Paris in 1908. Executed circa 1960, it fully embodies the modernist vocabulary that characterised the firm's editions in the late 1950s and 1960s: architectural lines, slender metal structure, and a smoked glass top that brings depth and contrast. The brushed steel, finely treated, catches the light with elegant matte nuances, while the tinted glass softens and balances the whole.
