Two clear glass tiers set into moulded frames articulate the height, offering a double display surface while preserving the visual lightness of the whole. This Neoclassical restraint — straight lines, slender proportions, polished brass — is characteristic of the productions of Maison Jansen, the great Parisian decorating house founded in 1880, supplier to royal courts and the most prestigious residences.
