A substantial "Belgian coffee table from the 1970s", combining a large square natural slate top with a strong architectural oak base.


The tabletop is made from a single large slab of dark natural slate, displaying beautiful variations in charcoal, anthracite and earthy grey tones. Its naturally textured surface gives the stone depth and character while contrasting beautifully with the warmer colour of the oak.


The base is particularly attractive, constructed from substantial oak sections arranged in two geometric U-shaped supports. The restrained construction and strong proportions give the table a distinctly **Brutalist and Belgian Modernist character**.


With its generous **100 × 100 cm** square format, this is an impressive coffee table that works particularly well with large sofas and modular seating. The combination of natural stone and oak makes it suitable for Brutalist, Organic Modern, Wabi-Sabi, Mid-Century Modern and contemporary interiors.
