Decorative vintage coffee table dating from the 1970s, combining a substantial natural marble top with an elegant green painted wrought-iron base.


The table features a beautifully shaped soft pink / peach marble top, displaying natural variations of blush pink, cream, white and subtle grey veining. The thick marble has a rounded, beveled edge that gives the piece a particularly substantial and luxurious appearance.


The base is equally decorative, constructed from green painted wrought iron with elegant sweeping curves, circular details and four beautifully scrolled feet. The deep green finish provides a striking contrast with the pale pink marble and shows attractive age-related patina and wear.


Its combination of pink marble and dark green iron gives the table a distinctly Mediterranean feel, while the sculptural scrollwork also lends itself beautifully to Hollywood Regency, Italian-inspired and eclectic interiors.


A very decorative statement coffee table that works particularly well in a living room, conservatory, garden room or sophisticated country-house interior.
