Beautiful vintage rattan and bamboo sideboard, dating from circa the 1970s, with a wonderfully warm honey-toned finish and extensive woven rattan detailing.


The cabinet has a particularly attractive symmetrical façade with three upper drawers and three lower doors, each framed in rounded bamboo. The drawer fronts, cabinet doors, sides and even the entire top are covered in finely woven natural rattan, giving the piece a rich texture from every angle.


A lovely detail is the set of original bamboo-style handles, decorated with wrapped rattan accents. Behind the three doors are spacious storage compartments with shelves, making this an exceptionally practical piece as well as a decorative one.


Its natural materials, warm colour and clean proportions make it ideal for Mediterranean, coastal, bohemian or eclectic interiors, while the restrained shape works equally well alongside contemporary furniture.


It could be used as a sideboard, credenza, drinks cabinet or storage cabinet in a dining room, living room or large hallway.
