Super 1930s Oak 4 Drawer Filing Cabinet from Corpus Christi College



Purchased direct from Corpus Christi college Oxford, we have an ever so handsome 4 drawer oak filing cabinet from Shaw Walker and label attached from office retailers William Hunt 18 Broad St Oxford - the company starting in around 1910.



It's a smart quality piece with 4 panelled sides and original solid brass hardware in place alongside file runners inside the four drawers. Cabinets of this quality are not only useful but rather good looking pieces of furniture. Condition is good with a lovely rich honey tone to the oak, again not always the case with these. We have carefully cleaned, waxed and ensured that the cabinet is fit for purpose.

For any large items that require two people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item. If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item. We are happy to quote for a two person delivery if required.
