Item Details

A good looking smaller scaled 4 drawer Victorian writing desk with black leather top and attractive turned legs finished with brass and ceramic castors.

This one sits well, has 2 long drawers and 2 short drawers all with original brass hardware and with gentle well crafted carving. The legs are particularly well turned and original castors are in place. We have one brass embellisher missing but this does not affect its use or its look being a back leg. The black leather top does have genuine aging. We have carefully cleaned the desk to ensure it is ready for placing.

A smart looking late 19th century English writing desk c1890.
