Attractive Art Deco Tallboy Cabinet with Drawers C1930

A very decorative oak Art Deco inspired tallboy/cabinet with the benefit of 3 inner drawers – a nice touch. Dated 11th May 1936 with the maker's name of J Yates to the rear of one of the drawers.

It’s an attractive piece with chrome top and tailed oak handles, framed and swirl motifs to the front doors, stepped top, lighter oak accents and wonderful ornate feet. All very much of the era.

Workshop report – The cabinet sits well with no wobbles or repairs. We have carefully cleaned and lightly hand repolished the cabinet to enhance the grain and design. We do have a few lighter marks to the top but nothing nasty or particularly off putting. The drawers are running well and are clean. The piece smells fine.

When purchasing from us we include delivery in the purchase price which is based on a one person delivery for England and Wales. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isles and for World-wide shipping. 

For any large items that require two people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item.  If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item. We are happy to quote for a two person delivery if required.
