Lovely Arts & Crafts Liberty box settle for Liberty of London in oak circa 1910 with lift up seat hiding useful storage space. We have the Ying Yang motif to the back and typical Liberty squashed hearts to the side armrests. Inlaid with Dutch characters to the front which were typical of the time. This one possesses a super shape and the scale means it is not going to need a lot of space.

The piece sits well with general historic aging but nothing off putting. We have lightly cleaned and waxed the settle to ensure it is ready for placing.

A lovely Liberty piece that’s getting a little hard to find these days…
