A Delightful Oak Art Deco 2 Drawer Bureau C1930



Very likely from the New Cromwell range by the talented British furniture producer Ebenezer Gomme and a truly rare survivor of the Art Deco period C1930. A seldom seen piece.
This one hits the sweet spot in so many ways: the scale is lovely, the original chrome handles to the drawers a delight, the coloured period flower accents just wonderful, the perfect shapely Deco design and those oak bentwood supports the icing on the cake.



The condition is good for its age. We have a working lock and key for the drop down writing section. The original chrome handles are in place. We do have historic faded ink stains to the inside and lower drawer. The flip down is opening and closing level with drawers running smoothly. The piece sits firm with the odd historic aged chip and mark here and there but not an eye sore or particularly off putting. We have ensured the piece is clean having enjoyed a sensible repolish in our workshop for good measure.

When purchasing from us we include delivery in the purchase price which is based on a one person delivery for England and Wales. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, The Isles and for World-wide shipping.



For any large items that require two people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item. If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item. We are happy to quote for a two person delivery if required.
