Large 1930s Oak Tailors Shop Mirror NO.2

A handsome 1930s oak framed tailors outfitters shop mirror surviving in great order with a really good weight, scale and a good look to the frame from a shop in South Wales.

We were fortunate to find this alongside another of the same design. We like shop mirrors to have height and this one wades in at 6 foot tall or 183cm in new money and has not been messed around with, just sensible historic wear.

As mentioned, the oak frame has sensible wear, nothing nasty, the original mirror has light foxing, no cracks or missing pieces nevertheless there is a 4.5cm split in the mirror glass at the bottom which apparently has been there for ages and the back is original. As you would expect - of decent weight and ready to place.

Size matters with shop mirrors and this one is a very good example in oak C1930.
